Yep folks, it’s that time…Dribble (and lots of it), rosy red cheeks, and plenty of chewing on things. Nope, I haven’t bought a puppy, Esmé is most definitely teething.
Luckily for me, I was sent this handy booklet filled with tips, lullabies & stories from Ashton & Parsons Infants’ Powders.
Some of the top tips included in the booklet are:
- Have teething toys or rings (although Esmé loves gnawing on pieces of cold cucumber!)
- Playtime & Cuddles (as a distraction technique)
- Massaging Gums
- Cool Drinks
- Ensuring you keep your baby’s chin dry so it doesn’t get sore from all that dribble
I also heartily recommend using Ashton & Parsons powders. I used them with Phoebe and they worked like magic (even if it did look like I was pouring something dubious into my baby’s mouth!). They are a little on the expensive side, but they DO work! That far outweighs the cost to me.
